Why didn't Roxy stay with the escapees and head South?

Surely she'd be better off staying with the others than carrying on North?

I love answering questions like this.....

Although it is never said in the script, it's implied that David is suspicious that Roxy has some kind of tracking device on her that would give away their position. So he's quite pleased when Roxy suggests that she try and lead the Taliens away and enable the others to escape south.

Any other questions?
